Your schedule

Mark times a patient can't be seen

Mark dialysis days and other times on the patient's record, and see them while you place visits.

Add a blocked time

  1. Open the patient and press the Availability tab. A blank week means the patient can be seen any time.
  2. Press Add block. Or drag on the grid over the times. On a phone, tap the grid.
  3. If you pressed Add block, choose the Day in New block. Under Repeat, choose Only this day or Every week.
  4. Tick Whole day, or choose Starts at and Ends at. Times go by the half hour.
  5. In Note, add a word if you like, such as Dialysis. Up to 40 characters.
  6. Press Done. A message says Block added., with Undo.

There is no Save button. Each change saves as you make it. Use the week arrows and Today to see other weeks.

Change or remove a blocked time

  • Press the block to open it. On a weekly block, Change applies to lets you change Only this day or Every week.
  • Drag a block to another time or day. A weekly block moved this way moves for this week only.
  • To remove it, press Remove from every week, or Free this day to free one date and keep the rest. A one-date block has Remove.
  • A changed or freed date shows Put back, which returns it to the weekly pattern.

How blocked times show on Schedule

  • While you drag the patient's visit or card, the blocked times show hatched on the days, with the note or Can't be seen.
  • A label over the schedule says the patient can't be seen at the hatched times. In Month, it names the hatched days.
  • Only today and later show.
  • Logicly never stops you. If you drop a visit in a blocked time, the message says Placed or Moved, then that the patient can't be seen at this time, with Undo.
  • A visit in a blocked time keeps a small ban mark. Its window says Can't be seen at this time.
  • When you add, edit or reschedule a visit, a line under the date and times warns you, such as Dialysis, every Tuesday.

When Logicly picks a time for you, from Place a visit, the Frequency tab or Auto-schedule week, it looks for a time clear of blocked times first. Optimize route leaves a visit where it is rather than move it into one.
