Home Health Visit Calendar
Plans change. Your schedule adapts instantly.
Logicly’s visit calendar is a drag-and-drop weekly view of every scheduled home health visit across a clinician’s caseload or an agency’s full team. It enforces frequency compliance, eval-before-routine ordering, and discipline rules automatically as visits are moved, reassigned, or rescheduled.

What is home health visit calendar?
The visit calendar is Logicly’s central workspace. It shows every scheduled visit across disciplines in a weekly grid, color-coded by discipline. Schedulers drag and drop visits to rearrange them, reassign clinicians, or handle callouts — and the system validates every move in real time against business rules (cert periods, eval ordering, frequency compliance).
How does home health visit calendar work?
- 1
View the whole week
The calendar shows a full week by default, with each day as a column. Visit blocks are color-coded by discipline (PT, OT, RN, HHA, etc.) and show patient name, time, and status.
- 2
Drag to reassign or reschedule
Drag any visit to a new day, time, or clinician. The system validates the move in real time and flashes a warning if it would violate a rule (overbooking, missing eval, etc.).
- 3
Handle callouts instantly
When a clinician calls out, drag their visits to the unassigned pool or onto a different clinician. Each reassignment re-checks constraints and drive-time impact.
- 4
See the visit pool
Unscheduled visits from the frequency pool appear in a side panel. Drag them onto the calendar to manually schedule, or run auto-schedule to fill them all at once.
Who is this for?
Schedulers
Agency schedulers running multi-clinician schedules. Drag-and-drop replaces hours of spreadsheet editing with seconds of mouse work.
Solo clinicians
Solo clinicians managing their own caseloads get the same calendar view, scoped to just their visits.
How much time does home health visit calendar save?
Schedulers using spreadsheets or legacy EMR calendars typically spend 4-6 hours per week maintaining the schedule (callouts, reassignments, add-ons). Logicly’s drag-and-drop calendar cuts this to 30-60 minutes per week.
Is home health visit calendar HIPAA compliant?
Yes. The calendar displays PHI (patient name, visit details) and is protected with the same row-level security as the rest of the application. Schedulers only see visits for patients in their agency.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I see multiple clinicians on one calendar?
- Yes. Switch between "my visits," "team view," or filter by individual clinician. Team view shows every visit across the agency, color-coded by clinician or discipline.
- Does it enforce CMS rules?
- Yes. The calendar enforces eval-before-routine ordering, cert period boundaries, discipline scope (assistants only do routines), and frequency compliance. Rule violations are flagged immediately when you try to drop a visit.
- Can I see canceled or missed visits?
- Yes. Canceled and missed visits are displayed with strike-through styling and remain on the calendar for audit purposes. You can filter them in or out.
- Does the calendar sync with my phone calendar?
- Yes. Clinicians can subscribe to their personal calendar feed (iCal format) to see visits in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. The feed is read-only for security.
