A typical home health patient may have PT, OT, RN, and HHA visits all happening in the same week — each with its own frequency, notes, goals, and case manager. - Logicly enforces care-team membership at the database level using Postgres row-level security (RLS) policies. Non-admin clinicians only see patients where they appear on patient_care_team. Admins see all patients in their agency. This is enforced on every query, so there’s no way to bypass it from the client.
- What disciplines are supported?
- PT, OT, PTA, COTA, SLP, RN, LPN, MSW, HHA, and Chaplain. Assistants (PTA, COTA) can perform routine visits only — Logicly enforces discipline scope-of-practice rules automatically.
- How are case managers assigned?
- The first clinician to complete an eval for a discipline typically becomes the primary for that discipline. Case managers are assigned at the patient level and can be transferred to another clinician if the original case manager discharges.
- What happens when a discipline discharges?
- When a discipline discharges (e.g., PT finishes their plan of care), that discipline is marked inactive on the care team but visible in history. Other active disciplines continue their visits and the patient remains on service until all disciplines discharge.
