What puts a patient in the visit pool
- Your own frequency for the patient still needs visits in the week shown, Sunday to Saturday.
- Or the patient has a new admission and you haven't set a frequency or placed a visit yet. That shows under First visits.
- Visits already on the schedule that week count, including your assistant's.
- The pool shows the week on screen. Go to another week on Schedule to see its visits.
Common reasons
- Everything is placedEvery visit for the week is on the schedule. Nothing is missing.
- This week has passed.A past week has nothing to place. Go to this week or a later one.
- No frequency set yet.The card sits under Waiting and can't be placed. Press Set it on the patient's record and set the frequency on the Frequency tab.
- On hold until a dateThe patient's visits are on hold all week. Press the line to open the Frequency tab, where the hold is changed.
- You placed the first visit but set no frequencyThe patient leaves the pool until that visit is made, then shows under Waiting until you set the frequency.
- A visit was missedA missed visit still counts toward its week, so the pool doesn't offer a make-up visit. To add one, add a visit on Schedule.
- The week's count is already metCheck the patient's Frequency tab. Visits there count toward each week.
- The patient was discharged or archivedOnly open admissions of patients who are not archived are in the pool.
- No address on record. The card still shows and can be placed. A first visit with no address says Add an address to auto-schedule.
If the visit pool won't show at all
- Choose Day or Week on Schedule. Month has no visit pool.
- On a phone there is no visit pool. Use a computer or tablet, or tap days on the patient's Frequency tab.
- In a narrower window, press To schedule under the dates.
- If it says The visits to schedule could not be loaded. Reload the page to try again., reload the page and check your signal.
