Find your way around a patient record

The header, the tabs, Key dates, Visit history and precautions, and what each one tells you.

The header and the tabs

Open Patients and tap a patient. At the top you see their name, their status, the name they go by, their phone and their address. Beside them are Call, Map and More.

  • CallThe numbers on record: the patient's, the referring physician's, and each contact's. Call shows once there is at least one number.
  • MapShow on the map opens the patient on the Map page. Directions opens your phone's maps with the address. Map shows only when the patient has an address.
  • MoreThe three dots. Edit patient, Discharge patient, Archive patient and the other changes to the patient.

Under the header are the tabs.

  • OverviewKey dates and Patient preferences on the left, Visit history on the right.
  • FrequencyThe cert periods and the frequency for each. Shows once the patient has an admission.
  • AvailabilityTimes the patient can't be seen, such as dialysis days.
  • FilesThe patient's documents, in folders.
  • To-dosReminders for this patient.

Key dates lists the Start of care and the dates that follow from it, such as Cert periods, Recertification window and Next 30-day reassessment. Tap the start of care to set it on a calendar. Once the start of care visit is made, it shows a lock with Locked: the start of care visit is made.

Read the visit history

Visit history shows one month at a time. It opens on this month. Use Previous month and Next month to move through every month the patient had visits.

  • A day with a visit takes the color of its visit type, with a short code under the date.
  • Stripes mean the visit is scheduled. A plain color with an edge means it was made. A gray cross-hatch means it was missed.
  • Another clinician's visit shows in gray.
  • A +1 or +2 shows how many more visits that day.
  • Tap a day to open Schedule on that day.
  • SOCStart of care
  • EVEvaluation

  • RCRecertification
  • ROCResumption of care
  • SVSupervisory
  • DCAgency discharge or discipline discharge

The legend under the month names each color. You choose the colors yourself in Settings, under Appearance.
