Edit, discharge or archive a patient

Every change to a patient is in More, the three dots on their record.

Edit a patient

  1. Open the patient's record.
  2. Press More, the three dots beside Call and Map, and choose Edit patient.
  3. Change what you need. The form is the same one you used to add the patient.
  4. Press Save changes.

If you change the address, retype the street and pick the address from the list, so the map and your routes start from the right place.

What else is in More

More shows the choices that fit where the patient is in their care. While an admission is open, you may see these.

  • Patient is in the hospitalRecord a hospital stay. When they are back, choose Patient is home.
  • Discharge patientChoose the reason and the discharge date, then press Discharge. Afterwards you can correct the date and the reason, but the discharge can't be taken back.
  • My visits endedYour visits are over while another nurse or therapist from the agency carries on.
  • An aide is seeing this patientRecord that an aide started. Choose Aide stopped when they stop.
  • Record deathRecord the date of death.
  • Archive patientTake the patient off your caseload.

Once care has ended, More offers Correct the discharge and Start a new admission instead. Assistants, LPNs and aides don't discharge. They use My visits ended.

Archive or restore a patient

Logicly never deletes a patient. Archiving takes them off your caseload, and nothing about them is deleted.

  1. If the patient has an open admission, discharge them first, or choose My visits ended.
  2. Open More and choose Archive patient.
  3. Press Archive.

To bring a patient back, open Patients, set Show to Archived, open the patient, and press Restore.
