Open your mileage
On the Dashboard, the Miles driven tile shows the miles for the period you chose: Today, Week or Month. Press the number to open Mileage. You can also open it from Settings, then Scheduling, with the Mileage link.
Mileage shows one month at a time. Use Previous month and Next month to step, and This month to come back.
- DateEach day with home visits, through today. Later days never show.
- StopsEach stop in route order, as initials and town, such as M.L., Modesto. Full names and streets never show, on screen, on paper or in the file.
- Miles drivenEvery drive of the day added up.
- Commute not paidThe part of the drive to your first patient and home from your last that is not paid.
- Paid milesMiles driven less the commute not paid.
Under the table, Totals for the month adds up the three numbers.
How Logicly counts your miles
- Each day is a chain of drives: home to your first patient, patient to patient, and your last patient home.
- Logicly works out each drive from the addresses: your home address and each patient's address. It does not follow where you actually drive.
- Only your own visits that are not missed count. A visit that is marked missed or deleted takes its drives with it.
- Today's miles can change during the day as your visits change. A past day's miles change only when that day's visits change, never because an address moved.
Set how your commute is paid
- Open Settings, then Scheduling.
- Under Mileage, find The drive to your first patient and home from your last.
- Choose Not paid, Paid after a set number of miles each way, or Paid. Most agencies do not pay it, and Not paid is where Logicly starts.
- For Paid after a set number of miles each way, type the Miles each way that are not paid, from 0 to 100.
- Press Save.
Mileage says the rule under its totals, with Change this in Settings. The rule is used for every month the page shows.
Print or download your miles
- Press Print to print the month. The page prints as Mileage for the month, with your name.
- Press Download CSV to save the month as a spreadsheet file, such as mileage-2026-10.csv. It has the same columns, a Notes column, and a Total row with your commute rule.
- Print and Download CSV show only when the month has days with miles.
If your miles look wrong
- Some drives are still being worked out. The miles update on their own.Wait a moment on the page. The miles fill in by themselves. On the Dashboard the tile says Working out the miles.
- 1 drive is not known and is left out of the miles.A stop has no address, so that drive can't be worked out. Add the address on the patient's record, or enter the miles yourself.
- No mileage for the monthThe month has no days with home visits yet. Today's miles show once you open today's route on the Map page or the Schedule page.
- The mileage could not be loaded. Reload the page to try again.Reload the page. On the Dashboard, the tile shows a dash and Miles are not available right now.
- Paid miles look lowCheck your commute rule in Settings, then Scheduling, under Mileage.
- You movedChanging your home address does not change past days' miles. Today and later days use the new address.
Enter the miles you drove
- Open Map and choose Route.
- Go to the day with Previous day, Next day or the date box.
- Press the pencil beside the drive, after its time and miles.
- Type the number in Miles you drove, from 0 to 999.9. Leave it empty to use the computed miles.
- Press Save.
Your number counts in the totals, and the computed miles stay beside it, such as 6.0 mi entered, 5.4 mi computed. Mileage shows the same note under that day. If you change the order of that day's stops later, check your entered miles again.
