New York home health hotline
CMS's list gives New York's number as 1-800-663-6114. New York's own complaint form gives that number for complaints about doctors in private practice, so we show the home health hotline from New York's home care pages.
New York State Department of Health, Division of Home and Community Based Care. New York’s complaint page
“The federally mandated Home Health Hotline (1-800-628-5972) can be called 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The hotline is manned from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.”
For abuse, neglect or a safety problem, call the hotline the same day. Otherwise Medicare.gov’s order is the agency’s administrator first, then the hotline. The agency may not treat your parent worse for complaining.
