Your therapist ticks the steps that apply to you.
- 1Keep what you use every day between waist and shoulder height.
- 2Sit on a stool or chair at the counter for jobs that take more than a few minutes.
- 3Slide heavy pots along the counter instead of carrying them.
- 4Use the front burners and turn pot handles inward.
- 5Wear short or close-fitting sleeves when you cook.
- 6Wipe up spills right away so the floor stays dry.
- 7Set a timer every time the stove or oven is on.
